A structured handoff reduces delays, makes quotation assumptions clearer, and helps the sample match the intended product.
Start with a written list of every printed, engraved, or branded component. Include quantities and finished sizes where known. A supplier should not have to infer whether a logo appears on a tile back, rack, box, rulebook, or master carton.
Use names that identify both the component and the version, such as Chess_Box_Outside_v03 or Mahjong_Tile_Backs_v02. Avoid labels such as “final new” that make it unclear which revision is approved.

Artwork approval should cover more than spelling. Check finished size, bleed, safe area, orientation, color references, line weight, special finishes, and the material on which the design will be applied. Small details that look acceptable on a screen can change at production scale.
